Biography
Absoluut takes pop music seriously and has serious fun playing it. The Dutch DJ has been mixing iconic hits, nostalgic anthems, overlooked gems and club remixes since 2008. His sets move between pop, disco and house, with a particular love for strong female vocals. He loves hearing a dance floor sing along to a familiar hit, but gets just as excited about introducing people to something new.
Together with fellow DJ TMORGZ, he co-founded BOPS, Amsterdam’s queer pop party at The Other Side. They’ve since organized more than 20 editions. Absoluut’s appearances include Paradiso, A’DAM Tower, Amsterdam Pride, Club NYX, Tropikali and Milkshake Festival. He has also played Antwerp Pride, with Milan appearances at Q Club, Euforia and LeccoMilano.
